Community Event: Introduction to Yin Yoga

Tuesday, December 27th 2022 6:30pm

Yin Yoga isn’t your typical sweaty, intense vinyasa flow. But that doesn’t make it any less of a workout - git it a try to experience its many physical and mental health benefits for yourself. Yin Yoga has been shown to lengthen connective tissue, increase flexibility and range of motion, lubricate joints, boost circulation and reduce stress levels. Each pose is held for an extended length of time, typically two to five minutes. Many postures are seated or reclined since they require the muscles to be fully relaxed.

Please join Cat Bigley, of Cat Bigley Well-Being for this introduction to Yin Yoga. Check out Cat’s other programs offered at the Amputee Center, specifically, Bungee Fitness, Aerial Yoga, Tai Chi and Yoga to name a few. All of these programs provide financial benefit to The Amputee Center.
