The Amputee Center Pleased with a Successful Dice Run

Our hats go off to all of the volunteers, sponsors and bikers that helped make The Amputee Center’s Dice Run Fundraiser on August 14, 2021 a successful event! The event started at 9 am at The Amputee Center and helped to create awareness for our facility and programs.  The ride ended at The Old Corral on the Little Kanawha River where a delicious smoked barbeque was served.  There were four stops in between and the riders enjoyed the route.  We had great community support with sponsorships, donations, and raffle prizes.  The weather cooperated and we had 100% board participation.

The event gave us the chance to create awareness for the limb loss community and we were able to listen and share many stores from participants on what this facility means to them and/or their family.

The Parkersburg News and Sentinel covered the event! You can read the article here.
